Power Up! (2021-2024) is a Mozambican research study on strengthening women’s strategies for economic resilience and financial stability. It analyzes efforts and learnings from programs and projects in Mozambique, and women’s life experiences for economic empowerment.

Part of the methodology is systematization, storytelling and critical analysis through video. To this end, Aguacheiro accepted the challenge of carrying out a critical reflection through interviews in Maputo, particularly at the World of Women Conference (2022) and at the Ophenta women’s solidarity fair in Nampula.

The video ‘Questions that don’t want to remain silent’ (2023 | 22’) in Portuguese and English brings critical debates from women’s voices on what economic empowerment means and how women experience the world of work and access to financial resources.
